The ESMO annual meeting is one of the most important meetings in the world of oncology. This year, 27,000 participants took part in this multidisciplinary meeting. ESMO 2018 was held under the tagline “Securing access to optimal cancer care” and spanned a range of disciplines, fields and stakeholder groups. During the conference, an abundance of practice-changing data were presented and discussed.
ESMO 2018, the annual congress of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), took place between 19 and 23 October in Munich, Germany. It served once more as a platform for discoveries in oncology and education resulting in an abundance of changes in treatment paradigms of various malignancies. The Comprehensive Cancer Center Vienna (CCC) congratulates ESMO to this highly successful meeting and the presenters of the innovative and exciting data.
